Obituary for Mona Jarbo

Dear family and friends,
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother
Mona Jarbo (74), on Sunday 01/10/2021 at St. Anthony Rehab Center.

She was married to the late Jalal Shaooni for 46 years, and had three
children; Raad, Rabee, and her predeceased daughter and angel in heaven
Resalla. She is survived by her two sons; Raad and Rabee, her daughter-in-
law Thikra, and her two grandkids Alviero and Risella. She also leaves
behind many more friends and loved ones.

Mona was born and raised in Telkief, Iraq. She was the daughter of the late
Dawood and Wedaa Jarbo and was one of six children (Ashtah, Naef, Kula,
Samra, Anood, and Adeeba).

Mona was a truly loving mother and grandmother, and while we deeply
grieve her loss, we are choosing to remember her in a way that honors and
celebrates her spirit.

In tears we saw you sinking
We watched you fade away
Our hearts were broken
You fought so hard to stay

God watched you as you suffered
And knew you have had your share
He gently closed your weary eyes
And took you in his care

Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us of our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; for Thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, for Ever and Ever. Amen.
