Obituary
It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kafi Yaqoub Salman, beloved wife of the late Waed Youssef Al-Mouradi.
“For it is in giving that we receive. It is in pardoning that we are pardoned and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.”
Kafi Yaqoub Salman was a loving and devoted mother, who will forever live in the hearts of her children:
Ghassan, Adnan, Ahsan Al-Mouradi, and Jannan Jabbouri.
She was a beloved and humble Nana to 12 Grandchildren: Christopher, Columbus, Nicholas, Dennis, Lanse, Christina, Raniea, Rawaeda, Rita, Octavian, Sara, and Gladice;
Proud Great grandmother to:
Milana, Seth, Xavier, Jayden, and Manuel.
Beloved Kafi was born in Basra, Iraq to Yacoub Salman and Amyelda Abed and the sister of Yousif, May, Goza, Laila, Samira, Najat, and Samir Salman.
Please join us as we celebrate her life.
Church Services:
An in state viewing service will take place on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at St. Joseph Chaldean Catholic Church located at 2442 East Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48083 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Resurrection Mass will be at 11:00 am.
Committal Service:
Interment will follow church services at White Chapel Cemetery located at 621 West Long Lake Road, Troy, MI 48098;
Passover luncheon will be held at Sahara Restaurant and Banquet Center at 2390 Metro Parkway, Sterling Heights, MI 48310 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
May the Lord grant her eternal rest.
May the Angels carry her to Paradise. Amen
