"I am Free"

Don’t grieve for me, for now I am free; I took His hand when I heard Him call; I turned my back and left it all, My life’s been full, I savored much; Good friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss; Perhaps my time seemed all too brief; Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and share with me; God wanted me now, he set me free

I had the honor of being one of Sit Bernadette student at the Al Makasib/ St. Joseph Elementery school back in the Seventies of the last century where she was the principal of the school. The leadership and love to her student and her staff was next to none. We loved her as a second mother with her discipline and eagerness to have her school the best in all of Iraq through delivering the best education.
May God rest her soul in peace and give us the strength in her memory and cherish all the time spent in this life.
