Obituary

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our beloved father, loving husband and caring grandfather Akram Jabboori. Akram was born on 7/13/1935 in Baghdad, Iraq. He passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on October 3, 2020, in Sterling Heights, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father Jabboori Khosho, mother Romana Khosho, daughter Nagham Hallac, brother Elias Jabboori, brother George Jabboori, brother Emanuel Jabboori, sister Jamila Abdul Ahad and sister Bahija Kenaya. He is survived by wife Souad Jabboori, son Fourat and wife Sama Jabboori, daughter Batool and husbanb Azal Rofail, sister Maggie Kaskorkis, along with 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Akram was known for his fun demeanor, strong personality, kind words, along with his loving and caring heart. He had the ability to always light up a room with his presence. He was very involved with the Catholic faith and devoted his time making rosary’s, that were donated to family, friends and the Chaldean Catholic Church.

He will be greatly missed and his legacy will forever live within our hearts.

Church Services:
An in state viewing will be taking place Monday October 5th, 2020 at Mother of God Church from 10:00 to 10:45 am.

Resurrection Mass will be celebrated by Father Manuel Boji at 11:00 am. Mother Of God Church
